Chace to judge Maryland yearling show
Baden P. “Buzz” Chace was named judge for the Maryland Horse Breeders Association’s 75th annual yearling show on June 28 at Timonium Fairgrounds.
Chace, a successful bloodstock agent and a leading buyer at Fasig-Tipton Co. Midlantic auctions, has purchased many accomplished Thoroughbreds from yearling and two-year-olds in training sales. Past champions include Artax, multiple grade-1 winner and leading sire Unbridled’s Song, and Belmont Stakes (G1) winner Sarava.
The show is free and open to the public. A crab feast will be held at 6:30 p.m. on June 27 at the Sagamore Farm in Glyndon, Maryland.
