Colts by Cactus Ridge and City Place and a filly by Lion Heart turned in the fastest one-furlong breezes on Friday during the second of two under-tack shows for the Barretts Equine Ltd. May two-year-old in training sale, covering the distance in :09.80.

Havens Bloodstock Agency, agent, consigned the Lion Heart filly, who is out of the Prized mare Rokeby Rosie, a half sister to dual champion Silverbulletday.

The Cactus Ridge colt is out of Sweet Emma, by Mt. Livermore. B.C.3. Thoroughbreds, agent, consigned the dark bay or brown colt.

Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds consigned the City Place colt, who is out of Brooks N Boots, by Odyle.

Friday’s fastest quarter-mile breeze was recorded by a Songandaprayer colt, who covered the distance in :21.40. The bay colt is out of Sydney’s Kiss, by Boston Harbor.

The one-day sale will be held on Tuesday and begins at 11 a.m. PDT.
