Vosburgh Stakes (G1) winner Kodiak Kowboy was withdrawn from the Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) on Monday morning following a half-mile workout in :52.40 at Santa Anita Park.

Breeders’ Cup Ltd. confirmed later in the morning that he was out of the race, citing an unsatisfactory endoscopic examination.

Kodiak Kowboy won the Vosburgh by a half-length on October 3 at Belmont Park for trainer Steve Asmussen. He also won the Carter Handicap (G1) on April 4 at Aqueduct.

Owned by Vinery Stables and Fox Hill Farms, the four-year-old Posse colt is a six-time graded stakes winner.
