Racing2day.com, an international account wagering site that processes its wagers from customers in the U.S. in a hub in Oregon, has teamed with THOROUGHBRED TIMES for an online contest offering three $500 prizes for fans who correctly select winners from the November 6-7 Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Park.
The contest, which officially opens on November 3 after entries for the 14-race, two-day Breeders’ Cup programs are received, asks participants to select which team of horses—those based in the USA or those based in Europe—will accumulate the most points per day and overall. The sign-up period for the contest starts on October 26. To participate and vote on which team will win—Team USA or Team Europe—click here.
The contest offers three separate $500 prizes—one winner for each day and one for the two days combined. From correct entries, Racing2day will select at random one winner from each day and one overall. The $500 prizes come in the form of wagering credits at Racing2day.com, so participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
“We are bringing a fresh perspective to the U.S. market, introducing and deploying a whole raft of marketing initiatives, such as promotional offers, reward programs, and racing information services,” said Racing2day founder Vincent Caldwell. “In general, these types of initiatives have not been used in the U.S. before, and we expect this will have a big impact on the players.”
Racing2day also maintains a community portal at MyR2D.com for fans to discuss the sport and wagering ideas.
