Best of all, we put YOU in control - you can now manage your Thoroughbred Times subscription account on-line anytime, day or night.

Subscriptions

  • Why should I set up an account?

    To be in control! Creating an account will allow you, the customer, to manage your subscription account any time of day: start, stop, renew or pay for a subscription, change your street or e-mail address, start or stop the TODAY daily e-newsletter, check your expiration date, renew a gift subscription, control how we contact you, and report a delayed or missed issue.
  • How do I set up an account?

    Because it contains your personal information and we must prevent unauthorized access, to view your account information, there first must be a valid e-mail address on the account. You may call the subscription services department between 8:30am – 5:30pm ET, Monday through Friday at 888-499-9090 to add an e-mail address to your account. You then may go to the Create an Online Account and enter your customer number from your magazine label, click “next” and enter a user name, password and your e-mail address. After a confirmation e-mail, you will then be allowed access to your account information. After your online account is set up, you only need your user name and password to access your subscriber info.
  • I created an online account but I don't see any of my subscription information when I log in. Why?

    If you did not register with your customer number, then it is possible your online account is not linked to your subscription account. In order to link them up, you need to add your customer number to your account by clicking on 'Change information' in your main account page, and scroll to the bottom of the next page and add your customer number (no spaces or zeros). It will now be linked up to your subscription account.
  • I am having trouble logging in / I really want help setting up my account. Please help!

    We are happy to provide free technical phone help in getting set up. TODAY subscribers may call us at 888-499-9090 x4042 for assistance, or you may e-mail TODAY@thoroughbredtimes.com with 'technical help requested' in the subject line, be sure to include your area code and phone number and best time to call during the day. We will be happy to contact you directly and walk you through the registration process.
  • I just renewed online / I paid my bill last week by mail / Why is it not showing that in my account?

    It takes up to two business days after processing for the renewals and payments to update on the website. Check back in ~2 days after making an online renewal or payment (and 1-2 weeks after mailing a renewal or payment) to get the updated status.
  • I changed my address and the new address is listed on my account, so why are the issues still going to my old address?

    It takes several weeks for a changed address to take effect on the magazine label. Please remember to give us at least 2-3 weeks notice before a planned move so you don’t miss any issues. (Changes to the e-mail address for delivery of the TODAY update much quicker, usually in 1 business day).
  • What is "gracing"?

    This means your expiration date has passed and we are sending grace issues as we await your renewal instructions. These issues will count toward your next term when you renew, so they are not “free” issues. **Renew immediately to avoid any lapses in service. ** Because it takes several weeks to start or stop a subscription, we send grace issues after the expiration date as a courtesy so our customers will not miss any issues in case the renewal crosses in the mail.
  • Why am I showing “Gracing” even though my expiration date is a future date?

    We create labels approximately two weeks before an issue mails. As soon as we make labels for your last paid issue (your expiration date), your status changes to Gracing, even though it may be before the actual expiration date has passed. Be sure not to miss an issue! Renew now!
  • How long will I “Grace”?

    Usually for several weeks. Remember these are not free issues and will stop if we do not receive your renewal on time. Once the issues stop, it takes several weeks to start them back up and those graced issues will count toward your next term when you renew. So don’t delay and don’t miss issues - Renew today!
  • My account is showing Active - why haven’t I gotten any issues yet?

    If you have a brand new order or one that is restarting, it will take several weeks for your first issue to arrive. To find out the cover date of your first issue, you may contact the subscription department directly at subscriber@thoroughbredtimes.com.
  • My account is showing Suspended Temporarily - why?

    The account is held at the request of the customer. Issues are not sent during a suspension. Your expiration date will already reflect the correct date adjusted for the held issues.
  • My account is showing Suspended Indefinitely - why?

    The account is held due to a number of reasons, such as issues being returned by the post office for a better address. Please contact the subscription department to find out the reason for the hold and/or to reinstate: subscriber@thoroughbredtimes.com or 888-499-9090.
  • What is "expired"?

    Issues are no longer being sent. The subscription expiration date has passed and the grace issues have run out. Reorder now!!

The TODAY

  • What if I don't know my customer number? / What if I get the TODAY but never see the magazine label?

    In this case, you would need to contact the subscription department at 888-499-9090 or subscriber@thoroughbredtimes.com to get set up. It is always best to register with your customer number as this will link your online account to your subscription account. This will allow you access to more features and the TODAY archives.
  • How do I start or stop my TODAY?

    First create/log in to your subscriber account, and then click “manage settings” to the left of your information. Check or uncheck the box to start or stop the TODAY delivery. It will take one business day to update.
  • How do I change my e-mail address for the TODAY?

    Just log into your subscriber account and click “change” next to your e-mail address and enter your new e-mail information. *After clicking on the confirmation e-mail automatically sent to the new e-mail address*, your verified e-mail change will be processed - TODAY delivery to the new address will begin within 2 business days.
  • I missed an issue of the TODAY. How do I get that?

    For all active accounts in good standing with an e-mail address on file, you may log into the TODAY portal on our website and retrieve past or current issues. This is also helpful if you are away from your own computer and still wish to view the TODAY.
  • I just renewed my magazine subscription. How do I renew my TODAY subscription?

    That’s easy! You don’t need to do a thing! Your TODAY and your magazine subscription are linked, renew one, both will keep coming! It’s just another way we make it easy for our customers.
  • I accidentally unsubscribed to the TODAY. How do I get back on?

    You need to log into your account, click on “account settings”, and check the box for TODAY delivery. You will be sent a confirmation e-mail. Reply to that e-mail and the TODAY will restart in 1 business day.
  • My magazine subscription lapsed but I only want to receive the TODAY. How do I just get the TODAY?

    At this time, we are not able to offer just a subscription to the TODAY. To keep the TODAY coming, it will be necessary to renew your subscription to the magazine.
  • I’m not getting the TODAY but I use to. What happened?

    Once a subscription expires or is held awaiting payment, the TODAY will stop until payment or a renewal is received. To check an account status, log into your subscriber account, it will be listed under subscription status. OR if the account is active and paid, there could be a problem with your computer or ISP and the TODAY’s are being bounced. After several bounces, delivery to your e-mail address is suspended. To restart the TODAY, log into your account and check the TODAY box near your e-mail address. Delivery will restart in 2 business days.
  • How do I help make sure I receive the TODAY e-mail?

    Be sure to add TODAY@thoroughbredtimes.com to your e-mail address book. This helps your ISP know this is an approved sender and to let the e-mail through.
