Cactus Ridge to Vinery

Third-crop sire Cactus Ridge will stand the 2010 season at Vinery Kentucky, the Lexington farm announced on Friday. His stud fee has not been announced.

The eight-year-old son of Hennessy, who was bred and raced by Toby Keith’s Dream Walkin’ Farms, is the sire of six stakes winners and earners of $5,074,567.

Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes (G1) winner Hot Cha Cha is Cactus Ridge’s leading earner at $585,566.

Cactus Ridge stood at Walmac Farm in Lexington from 2004-’09.

Cactus Ridge, out of the Lycius mare Double Park (Fr), won all four of his starts as a two-year-old, including the Arlington-Washington Futurity (G3), and retired undefeated.
